In 1980, the TubeLine Services partners decided to set up a limited liability company and TubeLine Limited was registered, with the objective of providing a personalised service dedicated solely to the oil exploration industry operating in the Mediterranean.

Since then, TubeLine Limited broadened its client base.  The Company invested heavily in very well organised and efficient systems on which every client can rely.  The trust and support of our valued clients have always been the motivating force behind the development of new markets and our ever-expanding presence within the forwarding industry.

Door to Door, with our overseas global partners, we are able to offer a total transportation service for both import and export.

OCEAN

The Company also handles all aspects involved with the shipping of cargo by sea, be it import or export, FCL or LCL.

Through our overseas partners, the service offers an unrivalled worldwide coverage and will take cargo from source to final destination anywhere in the world.

As not every shipment is urgent, the Company also offers standard and budget services at very competitive rates.

SERVICES

*  Having its own customs broker gives the Company the facility to monitor each shipment from arrival to delivery.

*  Utilising its own dedicated transport gives  a better control on the time of delivery / collection of each consignment.

* Qualified staffs handle Hazardous and Dangerous Goods material.

*  The Company’s warehouse is annexed to the offices, offering  clients packing and storage facilities with a continuous monitoring of all the activities carried out.

Further to the above, other services offered include:

Accompanied on-board courier, bonded warehousing, charter service, co-loading, consular documentation, customs clearance, courier express for both documents and parcels, dry ice shipments, insurance, legalisation, origin certification, pets and live animals, perishable goods,  transhipment, valuable cargo, witness loading/unloading and world-wide consolidations.

Both export and import departments offer a specialised service for Exhibition and Conference material shipments, both air and ocean.

TubeLine Limited has managed to build a very good business relationship with all the major airlines operating to and from Malta such as Lufthansa, Air Malta, Alitalia, British Airways, etc..

TubeLine has been awarded the prestigious 2004 Lufthansa Cargo Award for the seventh year running, and is well placed to emulate the achievement once again for Year 2005.  Lufthansa have classified TubeLine's latest success "on the professional drive instilled in its personnel".

The Company presently has 21 employees, including three customs broker agents and 11 customer services agents handling customs formalities.

Besides the Maltese national language, personnel have also a fluent working knowledge of English, Italian and French.

The head office is situated in Luqa, covering an area of approximately 408 square metres based on a two-storey building on top of our warehouse, which has an area of 248 square metres. It is approximately 3.5 km to either of the two main sea terminals and only 100 metres away from the only airport cargo terminal in Malta.
